About Us
We’ve proudly called the Big Bend region home since 2016. Our journey began with building a successful vacation rental business just south of Alpine, TX—an experience that deepened our love for hosting and this remarkable part of the world. After selling that business, we set our sights further south and created White Bear Ranch, a peaceful desert retreat just 29 minutes north of Big Bend National Park and Terlingua.
As outdoor enthusiasts, we’re passionate about exploring the natural beauty that surrounds us—whether it’s hiking, kayaking, or simply soaking in the views. That same passion drives us to offer clean, affordable, and locally owned accommodations in South Brewster County.
